Telba | Ethiopian Flaxseed Meal

Red Fox's flaxseed meal is made with black flaxseed sourced from the highlands of Gojam. It's carefully roasted and blended with Ethiopian holy basil (besobila), rue (tena adam), coriander seeds (dinbilal), garlic (nech shinkurt), bishop’s weed (nech azmud) and a small amount of fire-roasted barley (gebs).

This blend is packed with nutrition. You can mix a small amount with lukewarm water, chopped onions and jalapeno to make a delicious side to go with an Ethiopian vegan platter. You can also sprinkle it on your salad for a nice, nutty flavor. Or use it as a dip with boiled potatoes.
